very stylish leather jacket and according to the seller is napa leather. when I looked it up, I found information that said Napa leather is a higher quality leather than just sheepskin, its supposed to be instead Goatskin or kid leather. the jacket has only one inner pocket which makes it a bit inconvient but I had a second inner pocket put on the right inner side. For the price it is well worth it given the sharp style. but keep in mind it is genuine leather. this was what concerned me when I ordered it how good and authentic of quality of leather is it. I was impressed, but buying a leather jacket in store is a lot different than buying online.

MADE IN CHINA: Zipper got stuck half the time and the sleeves were unusually long.
The leather seemed like good quality, but was all wrinkled from bad packaging. The zipper would get stuck half the time. I have never had a problem with medium leather jackets, but this one had sleeves that were about 5 inches too long for me. I am 5′ 7″ tall and wear a shirt with sleeve length 32. The chest area was a bit big as well (My chest measures 42 inches)

I initially saw this coat on Amazon, and was a little hesitant. But it looked exactly like my favorite leather jacket that I had to donate to charity. I had lost a lot of weight and it was too big. Seeing this coat definitely put a smile on my face. When it arrived I couldn’t have been happier!! It was identical to old coat!!! I live in the northeast and it’s starting to get real cold up here!! This jacket is beautiful in cold weather. The zip out lining makes a huge difference. In the fall and spring I just remove the lining. I read several reviews complaining about a chemical smell. Mine did have an order, but two days in my garage got rid of the chemical smell and now it smells just like leather.

Luckily just after I ordered I caught a review of someone that was my size saying they needed to return the coat and get a small. I was in time to cancel my medium and reorder a small but still I worried that it would come and be too small. It fit perfect. Very nice design. I read some reviews complaining about the smell. It definitely has a smell but I rather like the smell of leather and find it a plus rather than a negative.

Generous cut. Great quality
This is one of two REED leather jackets that I purchased from Amazon. The “American Style Bomber”,(ASIN:B00KMS9CX6), and The “New Zealand Lambskin”,(ASIN:B00KMSD066).The Bomber jacket was made of nice quality top grain leather with a textured look and grain. The New Zealand was made of genuine lambskin leather, much softer and smoother than the other, giving it an overall sharper look. It could be worn with nicer business wear and not be seen as out of place whereas the Bomber’s texture looks more casual.The stitching on both was great. The 3 pockets were nice and deep. The lining does not button or attach to the inside pocket, so one must be careful when using it so that the item is indeed going into the pocket and not just the slit in the liner where it will fall to the ground. I’m going to use small binder clips to alleviate that problem. Another inside pocket on the right would have been nice.I am 5’8″, 155 lbs, 32″ Waist and found that size Medium was a little too roomy for me. The waistband rested on my butt, even when it was zipped up. I ordered a Small in the Lambskin and it fits perfectly.PROS: Both nice leather, Quality workmanship, Good price, Amazon returnsCONS: Both made in China, Lining doesn’t attach to pocket, Only 1 inner pocket

A Beatiful jacket
I would have liked to make it a five star. It’s a absolute beautiful jacket and fits fantastic. My husband loves it. We only put it as a four star because the zipper is very hard to sip up.

Top of the line Bomber jacket
This is one beautiful jacket, well made and with all the features that you would expect a jacket with the MSRP of 599.99 (tags that were attached to the jacket) would have. Inner pockets, zip out liner and a nice heavy grade of leather. Looks like this would last someone a lifetime of use. Fit is generous within the size. I wear an XL and bought that size. It’s not tight and it feels right wearing it. Arm length is good, hitting a little into my hand. First night I wore it, a younger store employee, in their 20’s commented how nice the jacket looked. That was a bonus. I did need to “air out” the jacket because of the dies and processing they used in the manufacturing process. One day hanging it out in the patio allowed it to lose most of the smell. Leather is a natural product, and you should expect there would be a smell such as this, compared to no smell of a textile garment. The price was amazingly good for the quality of the jacket. Highly recommend it!

Beautiful, very well-made jacket.
My father was a B-52 commander and I envied his bomber jacket when I was a child. I’ve always wanted a bomber jacket but never bought one so for my 65th birthday I ordered the reed bomber jacket and I must say I waited decades too long to buy one. The fit and finish and quality of construction on the leather bomber jacket is phenomenal. It has a zip out liner as well. I’m sure whoever gets this jacket when I leave this earth will enjoy it. When you order yours, as you should definitely do, use the size chart provided by reed on the jackets website. It is accurate and the fit is exact. Thanks for making such a great product.

Top Quality Leather Jacket
This is a heavy-weight jacket, but it does not feel heavy while wearing it. I purchased a Large for a 5’10”, 180lb man and it fits great. It is not tight along the shoulders for all ranges of movement, the arm length is a bit past the wrist, and the length sits at the belt area. The storm flap is a great addition for this type of jacket (the 20-year-old jacket this one replaces from a different maker did not have one). The elastic at the base holds the jacket to the body nicely without allowing it to ride up. All three pockets are nice and deep. Liner is well-made and zips in/out smoothly. Inner pocket lines up with the liner pretty well, but it is best to be sure to feel for the top of the leather on the pocket before dropping items in, as no button holds the liner to the pocket. There are several buttons/stretchy loops throughout the jacket/liner to hold the two together, however, just not at the pocket. Snaps on the cuffs and storm flap work well. Leather of the jacket is soft and supple, not stiff. This jacket has nice lines, is very well-made, would be appropriate for dress or casual wear, is constructed of high-quality leather, looks great on, and feels good. Am confident it will last many years. You will not be disappointed in this jacket!
